The
2ML70 transmission debuted in the 2008 model year for the hybrid versions of the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. The hybrid transmission features three planetary gear sets, two rotating clutch packs and two fixed clutch packs with two electric motors/generators. These motors recharge the hybrid battery pack and drive the vehicle on electric power.
