C6 Corvette is called such as it is the sixth generation of the Corvette. The C6 Corvette run included Z06, ZR1, Grand Sport, 427 Convertible, and racing variations.
Distinctive features of the
C6 Corvette include a roomier passenger compartment and the return to exposed headlamps, a throwback to the 1962 model. The C6 Corvette also had a larger engine that got even larger in the 2008 model year when the LS3 engine was introduced.
A total of 215,123 C6 Corvettes were produced.
